Weddings, the way Vermont does them best

A Vermont Table has been catering weddings across Southern Vermont since 2008. Our team partners with you to design a menu that reflects your story, your season, and the unique charm of a Vermont wedding — whether you're saying "I do" at a Stratton mountain venue, a Brattleboro loft, a private home in Manchester, or a working farm in the Connecticut River Valley.

Every wedding menu is built from scratch around what's growing now. We source meats, cheeses, vegetables, and honey from farms within an hour of our kitchens, and our chefs translate them into refined, seasonal courses that feel like Vermont on a plate.

From your first tasting through the last toast, we handle everything: menu design, bar program, rentals coordination, professional service staff, and the dozens of small details that make a wedding day feel effortless.

Where we cater Vermont weddings

We are based in Brattleboro and West Dover, with two beautiful in-house venues — Harmony Loft in downtown Brattleboro and Trail87 at the base of Mount Snow — and we travel for off-site weddings throughout Southern Vermont, including Stratton, Manchester, Wilmington, Newfane, Putney, Dummerston, and Grafton, plus the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts and Keene-area Southern New Hampshire.

Whether your venue is a tented field, a historic inn, a ski-resort lodge, or a private home, our team has the experience and equipment to deliver a flawless reception.

A wedding day timeline that flows

We design the food experience around the rhythm of your day: passed hors d'oeuvres and stationary boards during cocktail hour, a curated dinner service that keeps every table perfectly timed, late-night bites for the dance floor, and a coffee and dessert moment that gives guests one last reason to linger.

Our service captains run the floor with a calm, hospitable hand — guiding your wedding party, coordinating with your photographer and DJ, and making sure you actually get to eat the food we're so proud to serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book our Vermont wedding caterer?

For peak season (June–October), we recommend booking 9–14 months in advance. Off-season weddings (November, January–April) often have more flexibility and can be booked 4–6 months out.

Do you provide bar service for weddings?

Yes. We provide full bar packages including beer, wine, cocktails, and signature drinks, served by our licensed bartenders. We can build a Vermont-craft-forward beverage list or a classic full bar — whatever fits your day.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Always. Every wedding menu we cater includes thoughtful gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly options. Share your guest list's needs and we'll design around them.

Will you travel to our venue?

Yes — we cater weddings throughout Southern Vermont, Western Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire. Tell us your venue and we'll confirm logistics during your inquiry.

Ready to plan your event?

Tell us your wedding date, venue, and guest count and we'll send a custom proposal within a few days.
