Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide full bar service or just food?
Both. A Vermont Table runs licensed full bar service with our own bartenders alongside our catering, or as bar service on its own for your event.
Do you handle the Vermont liquor license?
Yes. When we sell and serve alcohol at your event we file the Vermont event license ourselves and carry liquor liability insurance. We can issue a Certificate of Insurance to any venue that asks.
How is bar service priced?
Most bars are priced per guest based on how many hours the bar is open and whether it is full liquor or beer and wine. We quote a fixed number with your proposal. Consumption and cash bars are also available.
Can we supply our own alcohol?
Often, yes, depending on the venue. We provide the licensed bartenders, setup, ice, and glassware, and we follow Vermont rules on service and cutoff.
Do you offer bar service for weddings?
Yes. Wedding bars are most of what we do: cocktail hour, champagne toast, wine with dinner, and a late-night bar, all coordinated with the kitchen and your timeline.
